I just got a hundred of my Google Adsense Revenue for this month today and I am again expecting a payout on November and December. Though it is not that much compared to the earnings of John Chow per day or George Lindemann’s riches, but that earnings can pay my hosting and yearly payment of my domain. The first time I started my blog is just for a hobby, to kill time, to practice and develop my writing skills. That was last 2005 where I use the Blogger or Blogspot service which I am still maintaining until now. But when I have read some bloggers that earned thousands of dollars per month, it blew my mind out. How can they earn that amount by just maintaining a blog. Anyway, I don’t have knowledge that time about Google Adsense revenue and other blog to earn things. After I learned about it, I just registered to the program and just pasted the adsense code on my blog and leave it like that and for more than a year the total revenue I had was just around 20 dollars. I don’t know why but just continue what I am doing… I just blog non-sense topics about what I ate yesterday, where I spent my weekend or who I met online, etc. Then I found out that almost nobody is reading my blog except those who are close to me.
But not now, I learned that to earn your blog, you need to consider your target readers. What they want and how to glue them into your blog to keep reading and visiting your blog everyday. Target a good niche… and choosing keywords are important because if you have those two, Search Engine will surely found you.
