How often do you clean-up you blog comment section for spam comments? I do it daily or sometimes every other day, but not until today because I’ve had enough of those long lists of key phrases with links spam comments and sometimes you cannot understand what the content of the comment is. So it struck in my mind, what if I will close the comment section of my blog because, anyway nobody is commenting regularly on my blog and what I get everyday when I check for new comments are spasm and I do it everyday… deleting 70, 80 sometimes more than a hundred Spam Comments everyday, it is like everyday you are taking grass wither in the field of your garden or it is like a woman that keeps on having a breast augmentation Beverly Hills, California but again and again she doesn’t takes care of here breast that she needs to come back again for another session to augment again her breast, and that is a crazy thing if you keep on doing it without looking for a solution to completely stop the root of the problem.
So, my options are, closing the comment section, putting a confirmation code or asking the commenter to sign in or register first before commenting. But closing the comment section won’t help grow my blog in order for me to communicate with the readers, so I pass it. And asking them to register or sign-in is a time killer and readers don’t want to waste time by registering so I pass it too. So, asking for confirmation codes before their comments are published seems to be a good choice because it is easy for readers to do it. Soon, I will put a confirmation codes for my blog so I won’t get pissed off everyday with those pathetic spam comments.
